Dr. Rebecca “Becca” Decker, DBA, PMP, is the Deputy Director. She is responsible for Marketing and Academic & Federal Government and Business Engagement for the Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation. Her responsibilities orbit around strategic marketing, program planning, and project management to establish Colorado Springs and the Southern Colorado region as a nationally known center of gravity for innovation and excellence in advanced technology in aerospace, defense, cybersecurity, and advanced manufacturing.

Becca also serves as the Catalyst Accelerator Program Director.

Becca launched her career as an imagery analyst and mission planner for the U-2 mission while serving as an enlisted member of the U.S. Air Force. Her Air Force enlistment eventually led to a civilian career with industry-leading global Aerospace and Defense corporations including Boeing Company, BAE Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton, and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. in engineering, program management, and business development roles.

Becca earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in business administration and is a certified Project Management Professional. In 2015, Becca received a Doctorate of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Alliant International University in San Diego, CA

Becca is a STEM advocate; engaging with non-profits and organizations that motivate girls and young women in pursuing education and careers in STEM. She recently served on the local chapter boards of Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). Additionally, Becca is a member of the Colorado Springs Rising Professionals and the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce. Becca was awarded the 2016 Young Professional of the Year by the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the 2016 Distinguished Young AFCEAN for the Great Plains-Rocky Mountain Region of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and the 2017 Colorado Springs Mayor’s Young Leader Award in Future Industries. Becca was named by the Colorado Springs Business Journal as a 2017 Colorado Springs Rising Star.

Offline, she is busy raising her robot fighters (kids), with her husband, Captain Awesome. She enjoys beer, reading, researching politics/technology/media, yoga, crossfit, hiking, and standup paddle boarding.
